15: The Devil

In this life a lot of people live in some sort of a cave.  They are sitting in a cave staring at these shadows dancing on the wall.  There are times when a few may become curios and look around to find that there are other people holding up paper cut outs in front of the fire to cast those shadows on the wall.  Even though some of them have seen this and some will never even turn around to question what they see, most of them will still choose to continue watching the shadows dancing on the wall of life.  However, there is that rare person who has the courage to realize there is so much more possible than some bizarre dancing shadows on the wall.  It is here they choose to leave the cave all together and see there is a whole incredible other world outside.

Would you be willing to do whatever it takes to radically choose for you?  Even if that means going where no one else is willing to go?

Excerpt from Venus’ Upcoming Book Here to Forever

The Devil archetype can struggle with addictions of any kind… drugs, food, drama, money, sex just to name a few.  In essence the Devil needs to be careful of being held back by any of the unhealthy sides of those addictions.  Addictions can often seem like living life.  They are intoxicating and hypnotizing.  Its as if its the illusion of living rather than actually living.  It looks good and often feels good however at the end of the day or the next day there is a feeling as if something is missing.  The devil is shrouded in darkness and illusions however trust there is always light at the end of the tunnel.  You can choose to be the person that leaves the cave only to find out there is so much more to life than ever imagined.

The Devil questions for transformation
1. Would an infinite being truly choose this?
2. What am I unwilling to be aware of here that if I was willing to be aware of it would change everything right away?
3. What would it take to choose something greater?

Remember you are powerful beyond measure!
