In the previous blog you learned out how to discover your personal archetype. If you haven’t had a chance click this link to figure it out now. Discovering Your Archetype Remember once you have your archetype you can go back to that previous Archetypes blog post and read some of what that means for you and understand some of your life lessons.
I am excited that now we will continue our adventure by diving into the Minor Arcana. The Minor Arcana represents your choices and actions throughout the realization of your destiny. In a lot of ways these give us a deeper understanding of how all the gears work together to make the contraption of life run. Some places need a little finesse and oil to keep the gears moving smoothly. Where others may actually seem like the oil unto themselves. To remind us that all of the parts and pieces are part of and sometimes even necessary for our own growth and evolution in this life. My wish is that you are able to use this information to assist you in moving forward with more ease and joy.
We will begin this part of our journey looking at the Cups. Cups are often looked at as the ‘Quest for the Holy Grail’. However no one has found the Grail so this suit represents the search. The Cups takes us through our emotions, our inner state and inner feelings. It is also a suit about giving and receiving, that which is contained and that which if offered. Sharing the love if you will.
We are all looking for the ultimate expression of relationship and we are here to learn through those relationships. This includes friendships, romantic relationships, business relations and family you are bonded and connected to. Life is also a mythic journey to find healthy relationships for our environment and ourselves. So when I talk about relationships it can include any and all of these possible facets. Only you know what is true for you in any given moment.
Begin this week by taking stock. What are your relationships? Which ones are contributing to you? Which ones are not? Which ones need some work? Are you in right relationship with yourself? If you could change anything about your relationships what would you change? And we will dive in to the Ace of Cups next week.
Who are we today and what grand and glorious adventure can we have together?
“Dear Humanoid: You’ve got it all wrong. You didn’t come here to master unconditional love. That is where you came from and where you’ll return. You came here to learn personal love. Universal love. Messy love. Sweaty love. Crazy love. Broken love. Whole love. Infused with divinity. Lived through the grace of stumbling. Demonstrated through the beauty of messing up. Often. You didn’t come here to be perfect. You already are. You came here to be gorgeously YOU. Flawed and fabulous. And then to rise again into remembering. But unconditional love? Stop telling that story. Love, in truth, doesn’t need ANY other adjectives. It doesn’t require modifiers. It doesn’t require the condition of perfection. It only asks that you show up. And do your best. That you stay present and feel fully. That you shine and fly and laugh and cry and hurt and heal and fall and get back up and play and work and live and die as YOU. It’s enough. It’s Plenty.”
